World Centric compstable 6in wrapped spoons are made from PLA polymer made from plants and Talc mineral filler. These utensils are certified compstable in a commercial facility, which may not exist in your area. The utensils may be washed in a dishwasher for reuse. The wrapper is also made from PLA and is compstable.
